The GroundKeeper is a commercial lawn mower deck weight kit that distributes the mower's weight more evenly and helps keep the deck's front edge on the ground. The deck weights attach without tools to the mower's frame rails near the front caster wheels. They add over 30 pounds to the mower's front edge, improving cut quality and handling. If you have enough room to install it, it's compatible. Is this compatible with my mower? If you are unsure, please send us a picture of your mower so we can see the front caster wheel area! The weight's shape was designed to fit 97%+ of commercial zero-turn, walk-behind, and stand-on mowers. It is compatible if your mower's frame rail is 1.5 to 2.5 inches wide and at least 3 inches long. If your frame rail is only 1" wide, please email us or add a note to your order to let us know this. We will add 2 additional slips of rubber so you can fit a snug fit. Most mowers use 1.5-inch or 2-inch steel tubing for the frame rails. The rubber strips we include protect your mower's paint, keep it from sliding, and allow you to snug the fitment using the recommended number of strips for your frame rails size. We include all sizes, you may have extra strips. If your mower uses a 2.5" I-Beam style frame, the process is the same, you'll just use the thinnest strip of rubber. These will work with most commercial mower models made by all major brands. How does it install? Got 3 minutes? You can install these then! To perform the installation, set the rubber strips on your frame rail, press the weight as far down as possible, and then secure it with the straps.
