For EMS Week last year, the MAA initiated a historic Convoy of Champions event. More than 100 ambulances from across Massachusetts participated in a Convoy that began in Worcester and ended at Historic Fenway Park. Once in the Park, EMS professionals were acknowledged with video tributes from notables such as Governor Baker, Bob Kraft, Davis Ortiz, and the CEOs of our largest area hospitals. The event, hosted by MAA president, Dennis Cataldo, sent a clear message to the EMS profession; you are appreciated and acknowledged for your commitment, skill, and service. This year the MAA is once again hosting a Convoy event scheduled for May 18th. It will begin in Worcester and end at the Boston MedFlight base in Bedford. More details to come.
