Why did I receive this bill? I did not call for the transport.

Cataldo Ambulance Service, Inc. is a private ambulance company and our services are not funded through any other means. The patient and/or their insurance provider is responsible for the payment of services.

Can I pay my bill online?

You absolutely may pay your bill online! Use the blue “Pay Your Bill Here” button on this page, fill out the form and initiate your payment. Yes, it’s that easy!

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept forms of payment by Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. You may also mail in your payment, made payable to Cataldo Ambulance Service, Inc. or Atlantic Ambulance Service, Inc., via check or money order to the address listed below. If you would like to pay cash, please feel free to come to our Corporate Headquarters and make your payment in person with our Customer Service Department. You may visit our Corporate Headquarters during normal business hours of 8:30AM to 5:00PM Monday through Thursday and 8:30AM to 4:45PM on Friday.

Can I receive a copy of my receipt?

Sure, a receipt will be emailed to you once your payment has been successfully received.
If you did not pay online and would like a receipt mailed to you, please contact our Customer Service Department at 617-625-0126.

Why is my wheel chair transport not covered by my health insurance?
Most major insurance companies, for instance, Medicare Part B do not cover wheel chair transportation.

Will my insurance cover my transport?
We cannot guarantee coverage. If you have specific questions about your coverage, we would ask that you contact your insurance company direct by calling the phone number located on your insurance identification card.

I don’t have health insurance. Is there a way to reduce the cost?
We strive to do what we can to work with our patients during their financial hardships; however, we cannot guarantee we can offer a discount. Please contact our Customer Service Department to discuss your account further.

If my insurance company paid why am I still getting a bill?
There are numerous reasons why you could be getting a bill. Most common reasons is due to your deductible or copay. We are here to go over your bill. The fastest way to understand your bill is to contact your insurance company or obtain a copy of your EOB or Explanation of Benefits from your insurance company. There it will explain why you are receiving a bill. You may also contact our Customer Service Department and we can also assist you in understanding your bill.

Can I prepay for my non-emergency transport?
Absolutely! Please contact our Customer Service Department 8:30AM to 8:30PM Monday through Thursday and 8:30AM to 4:45PM on Friday and they can take your payment over the phone.
