Cataldo In the Community

Supporting The Communities We Serve.

We live within the communities we serve, and so share a deep commitment to our surrounding neighbors and friends…

Cataldo’s Annual Golf Tournament began in 1993 with the intention of making a small yearly contribution to the Fight Against Cancer. Now, after hosting for many years, Cataldo Ambulance Service has raised over $600,000 for the cause. Most recently, Cataldo’s Swing Fore Hope Tournament donated all proceeds to the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge Boston. The Hope Lodge offers cancer patients and their families a free, temporary place to stay while patients are receiving their treatments. With over 30 Hope Lodge locations throughout the U.S., each offers a variety of resources and information about the disease and how to best fight it.

With exciting raffle prizes, networking and sponsorship opportunities, together we can make a difference to the lives of many suffering from Cancer.

Each December Cataldo Ambulance Service works with the Somerville Housing Authority to collect toys to be donated to the local Toys for Tots.

The toy drive, held at the Kmart in the Assembly Square Mall in Somerville, proves to be successful each year. An ambulance is stationed outside of the retail store each year to generate interest. During the two days of the drive, employees receive new and unwrapped toys from area residents and fill the ambulance. Toys are then distributed by the Somerville Housing Authority to children up to 11 years of age. Employees of Cataldo Ambulance Service and Kmart also donate toys for the children each year. This toy drive is a continuous way Cataldo Ambulance Service gives back to the Somerville Community.
