We maintain a fleet of ready reserve, back-up vehicles capable of being activated in a moment’s notice. We firmly believe in providing our personnel with the best vehicles and equipment available.
Each ambulance incorporates the latest in safety and comfort features. Our fleet is one of the newest in the country. Our wheelchair vans are built to custom specifications and incorporate refinements developed through many years of experience providing wheelchair accessible transportation. All units are maintained and serviced in our own maintenance facility that is well equipped with an extensive list of modern service equipment, as well as a master emergency mechanic, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Everything we use in our daily work is scrutinized for its ease of use, functionality, durability and performance. From wheelchairs to cardiac monitors, all equipment is fully evaluated before being purchased and issued for use in the field.
Because of the response and the decisions the EMTs made, they saved my mother's life. We wanted to go to a Boston hospital but the EMTs decided that she needed to go to a closer facility because of her condition. Because they took her to Whidden Memorial Hospital, she lived. You figure that EMTs would just drop a patient off and leave, but the EMTs stayed and talked with us; they went beyond the call of duty. I just wanted to let them know how wonderful I thought they were.
